Local Favourites.

 

Longway are a great Bluegrass band. Jim Hyndman from Thornton is one of the most accomplished musicians and is a well known local from his appearances with Scalded Cats, club favourites. Mainly playing banjo (he's a master), singing,  and also playing fiddle and dobro in Longway, Jim is versatile and superb.

Hugh on Double bass has played in many influential bands in cluding Boogaloosa.

Robin, originally from Kirkcaldy is a very influential high profile academic at Edinburgh University and in his spare time is a wonderful mandolin player.

"Big Stevie", Bob Stevenson plays rock steady guitar and is a singer many American Bluegrass bands envy.

Together they are Longway, sought after at Bluegrass festivals throughout the country and appearing for you in Kirkcaldy Acoustic Music Club.
