DOGHOUSE ROSES

Paul Tasker & Iona MacDonald

"Doghouse Roses present a seamless mix of folk, blues, country and Americana with the folk factor ultimately pushing through. Macdonald’s voice is pretty and pure, and folk trailblazers Pentangle comes to the fore on the track Happiness with its beguiling vocal melody and Bert Jansch-style guitar” – Fiona Shepherd, The Scotsman

Dawn Diamond

Dawn Diamond

Dawn Diamond is a local singer songwriter who has been too quiet on the scene recently given her talents.
Dawn writes from the heart: evocative, melancholy and comic, she has it all. A lovely clear voice and some great arrangements showcase her skill.
We just don't see enough of her so this evening with a double header gives us a chance to hear this terrific local talent.
